DEHRADUN: उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी जिले में बारिश से तबाह हुए राहत और बचाव कार्यों में लगे उनके हेलीकॉप्टर के दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो जाने से एक चॉपर पायलट और दो चालक दल के सदस्यों की मौत हो गई।



उत्तरकाशी आपदा प्रबंधन अधिकारी देवेंद्र पटवाल ने कहा कि हेलीकॉप्टर दुर्घटनाग्रस्त लोगों के बीच राहत सामग्री वितरित करने के बाद लौटते समय मोल्डी के पास दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हो गया।



"प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार, दुर्घटना एक उच्च ऊंचाई पर नहीं हुई," पटवाल ने कहा, जब विमान दुर्घटनाग्रस्त हुआ, तो चालक दल के केवल सदस्य विमान में सवार थे।



मृतकों की पहचान कैप्टन रंजीत लाल, पायलट इन कमांड, कैप्टन शैलेश, सह पायलट, राजपाल राणा के रूप में की गई है।

One fine hot summer afternoon there was a Cessna 150 flying in the pattern at a quiet country airfield. The Instructor was getting quite bothered with the student's inability to maintain altitude in the thermals and was getting impatient at sometimes having to take over the controls. Just then he saw a twin engine Cessna 402 5,000 ft. above him and thought, "Another 1,000 hrs of this and I qualify for that twin charter job! Aaahh.. to be a real pilot going somewhere!"

The 402 was already late and the boss told him this charter was for one of the Company's premier clients. He'd already set MCT and the cylinders didn't like it in the heat of this summer's day. He was at 6,000 ft. with a 20kt headwind. Today was the 6th day straight and he was pretty dang tired of fighting these engines. AVRO 748 TURBOPROP AIRLINER
The Avro 748 is a twin turboprop airliner powered by two Rolls-Royce Dart engines that was sold successfully world-wide, both for airline and military transport service(1). The first prototype (G-APZV) first flew on 24th June 1960.The first production aircraft, capable of seating a maximum of 48 passengers, was designated Avro 748 Series 1. It first flew on 31 August 1961, powered by two 1298kW Rolls-Royce Dart 514 turboprops.(2).Designed by AV Roe & Co Ltd, the type was later built by Hawker Siddeley Aviation Ltd, British Aerospace and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) and is most widely known as the HS748, the majority having been built under the aegis of Hawker Siddeley Aviation(1).
