In such a situation, the status of permanent Flights to some cities has been stopped.
According to the information, many Flights are being canceled for the last several days due to the non-availability of passengers from Indore.
Airlines are continuously canceling Flights from Indore to Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune etc.
Actually, people are afraid to travel because of Corona. The company cancels the Flight due to low bookings and refunds to passengers. Due to which the passengers have to face trouble.
According to agents, people are traveling only when it is absolutely necessary. Even at that, passengers are upset when the Flight is canceled. Here, the company stops flying to the city when there are fewer passengers.
Recently IndiGo has discontinued its Shirdi, Jaipur, Lucknow and Kolkata Flights. They were not getting passengers for these cities. Whereas now Flights to Nagpur, Pune may also be closed. Previously, there were more than 12 Flights every day between Indore and Mumbai, but now their number has come down to 8.. In this also, the Flight is constantly being canceled.
In the summer schedule starting from the last week of March, the Airlines had approved 44 new Flights from the DGCA.
But Flights have not started yet. At the same time, Flights to some cities have been halted.
This has reduced the number of Flights operated from Indore Airport. At the same time, the daily Flight is also canceled.
The Indore International Airport is known as Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport and is located approximately 8 km west of Indore. Named after the Maharani Ahilya Bai Holkar of the Holkar dynasty of the Maratha Empire, the Airport is the 20th busiest Airport in the country. According to the statistical reports garnered during the year April 2011 to March 2012, the Indore Airport received 1,112,834 passenger movements and 13,701 Aircraft movements. Indore is a popular city located in the state of Madhya Pradesh in Central India.
Overview
The Airport has been in existence since the year 1935 when it was under the administration of the Holkar dynasty. The operations of the Airport were formally handed over to the government of India in April 1950. The present day Airport was inaugurated in March 1996 after expansion of the runway. Night landing facilities have also been provided for all the Flights to Indore.
Terminals
There are total of 3 terminals at the Airport – domestic, international and cargo. There are numerous shops, snack bars and facilities of duty free shopping are also available at the domestic and international terminals.
Domestic Terminal– The domestic terminal at the Indore Airport is very well equipped and highly developed. Modern escalators, high tech baggage handling system, two lifts and two escalators are available to assist the passengers. Air India, jet Airways, Jet Connect, IndiGo, Spice Jet and Ventura Air Connect are some of the domestic Flight operators which provides various domestic Flight offers to Indore.
International Terminal– This is the new expandable terminal building which was inaugurated on 14th February 2012 and has the capacity of handling 700 passengers in an hour. Catering to the movement of 46 Flights in a day, this terminal boasts of 16 check-in counters, total of 16 immigration counters (4 of which are at the departure and 12 at arrivals) and four counters for customs. An ATM, book stall and a food court too is available.
Cargo Terminal– As far as Air cargo is concerned, Indore is a popular port for imports and exports. The cargo terminal of the Airport is well maintained with huge warehouses, adequate facilities and strict security.
Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh has the Bhopal Airport which is the closest Airport to Indore, around 169 km away.

According to the founder of the Air India 747 experience back in the 1970’s, Air India could best be described as a country on wings… and perhaps one of the most unique ways to fly. A flight on Air India in the 1970’s, and even the 1980’s, was special for 3 key reasons:

The Air India Experience
After few months of work, the entire B747 was transformed to the former glory of Air India B747. Different wallpaper adorned different zones of the B747. The upper deck resembles the lounge of 1970s Air India 747.
“On the trial night last October, we had only 12 guests in the cabin and 5 hostesses…and I was excited about the high crew to passenger ratio, we quickly began to understand the complexity of the service delivery.”
“For example….warm the samosa appetizer, but maintain the mango chutney cold. Or maintaining the right temperature for all our Indian bread selections (naan and roti)….But even with our entrรฉes, keeping our Chicken Tikka warm, hot and fresh at row 1AB as well as row 4JK. We definitely had some re-heat moments in the cabin…but this is why we do the trial. So that we can get it just right.”
To Re-create The Air India Experience
Anthony Toth has spent most of his 2020 re-creating the golden Air India experience in his B747 mock up.
“While I have some experience in recreating vintage Aviation for our famous Air India experience, I found the Air India project really challenging…because I was also recreating those special flying moments ….and this required a level a detail that I was simply was not used too.”
The experience focuses on every detail, the wallpaper dรฉcor, the seat fabrics, anything with the Air India logo has had to be reproduced. Every single item from boarding passes, menu cards, coasters, nut packaging, dining and glassware were custom made to resemble the former Air India service.
It takes this type of practice and service delivery to really appreciate all that goes into serving passengers on a 747. Anthony plans to continue to trial runs through 2021, with hopes to operate a fully functioning Air India experience when the pandemic is over; when his customers can safely immerse themselves and enjoy every detail in a re-created palace in the sky.

During negotiations, on 31 December 2020, management laid off all unionized pilots and hired the SAME NUMBER of bogus “Self-Employed” (read: non-unionized) Pilots.
Management announced that from now on they will only hire “Self-Employed” Pilots.

United Airlines UAL328 operating Denver to Honolulu DEN-HNL Boeing 777-222 N772UA had an Uncontained engine failure involving the Number 2 Engine Nose cowling detached and landed in someone’s yard.
