JOB OPENING AS RAMP AGENT IN DELTA AIRLINES
Job Description
Ramp Agents are responsible for:
Loading and unloading aircraft cargo.
Operating ground support equipment.
Performing aircraft marshaling duties.
Ensuring the timely and safe departure of flights.
Handling baggage and cargo, including sorting and transfer.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Previous experience in a physically demanding job or in a similar role can be beneficial but is often not required.
Skills: Good physical fitness, ability to lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs), teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check, and sometimes a pre-employment drug test.
Working Conditions
Environment: Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Schedule: Variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands: Significant physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
