Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Safety Management System (SMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System to ensure compliance with national and international aviation safety regulations.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Incident Investigation:
Lead investigations into safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses. Prepare comprehensive reports and recommend preventive measures.
Training and Education:
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees. Promote safety awareness and ensure all staff are knowledgeable about safety protocols.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation safety regulations, standards, and guidelines. Liaise with regulatory authorities as necessary.
Data Analysis:
Analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Use data to inform safety strategies and initiatives.
Emergency Response:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans. Coordinate emergency response activities and training.
Collaboration:

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Safety, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety management, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
Certifications:
Relevant safety certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Aviation Safety Professional (ASP) are highly desirable.
Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk management principles.
Skills:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities.
