Role Overview

The Manager – Technical Services & Training at Air Arabia leads the airline's Technical operations and Training activities to ensure compliance with aviation standards, safety regulations, and operational excellence. The role focuses on managing Technical services, developing Training programs, and fostering continuous improvement in engineering practices.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Services Leadership

    • Manage the Technical services department to Support aircraft maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

    • Oversee troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of Technical issues in collaboration with manufacturers and external partners.

    • Develop processes and documentation to ensure compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., GCAA, EASA, FAA).

  2. Training and Development

    • Design and implement comprehensive Training programs for Technical and engineering staff.

    • Ensure that Training programs align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational needs.

    • Monitor Training outcomes and evaluate employee competency post-Training.

  3. Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to all applicable aviation safety standards and regulations.

    • Lead audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions as required.

    • Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements to maintain compliance.

  4. Team Leadership

    • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and Training personnel.

    • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities.

    • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.

  5. Strategic Initiatives

    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance Technical operations and Training effectiveness.

    • Provide expert advice to senior management on Technical and Training matters.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to Support Air Arabia’s strategic goals.

  6. Budget and Resource Management

    • Plan and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

    • Oversee resource allocation to Support Training and Technical operations.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in aviation or Technical management are preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 8–10 years of experience in aviation Technical services or maintenance, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

    • Proven expertise in regulatory compliance and aviation safety.

  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance procedures, and regulations.

    • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.

    • Proficiency in Technical documentation and maintenance management systems.

  • Certifications:
    GCAA/EASA-approved license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.

 Job Title: Cabin Crew Member at Air Arabia, UAE


Location: Air Arabia Job Type: Full-Time

Introduction: Join Air Arabia as a Cabin Crew Member and become the face of our airline, ensuring a stellar travel experience for our passengers. As a Cabin Crew Member, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards throughout the flight.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct and Professionalism:

  • Ensure timely attendance, impeccable grooming, and fitness for all assigned flights.

  • Participate in pre-flight briefings to review flight details, roles, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.

2. Safety and Security:

  • Instruct passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their well-being throughout the flight.

  • Identify and address safety and security risks in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Administer first aid when necessary and promptly report any irregularities to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.

3. Customer Service Excellence:

  • Welcome passengers, assist with boarding, and maintain accurate records in the aircraft logbook.

  • Provide exceptional service by addressing passengers' pre-booking requests and needs.

  • Assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.

  • Promote on-board sales and charity services, contributing to individual and team revenue targets.

4. Cross-Checking and Reporting:

  • Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure all necessary supplies, emergency equipment, and catering items are onboard.

  • Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain and ensure the aircraft cabin is cleaned and re-catered efficiently.

  • Perform post-flight briefings and assessments, reporting any issues and closing duty-free containers.

5. Professional Development:

  • Maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedures workshops, and by keeping your license current.

  • Contribute to team goals and achieve allocated sales targets.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 33 years

  • Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)

  • Weight: Proportional to Age and Height

  • Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos

  • Health: Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties, capable of swimming with a flotation device

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.

  • Training: First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training is a plus.

  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in Written and Spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Previous experience in cabin crew roles or customer service in the aviation or hospitality industry is a plus.

  • Active cabin crew license is an advantage.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work in shift patterns and extended hours.
