Air India lost two of its Senior Employees in a Single Day,
Senior Pilot Captain Amitesh Prasad, who was hospitalized earlier this month with Covid19
And Johnson Tirkey, an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer from Kolkata, both died on Sunday morning.
However Air India Pilots and employees did the right thing through lockdown last year.
And continued to do so in the following months, operating flights to the Vande India Mission to bring stranded Indians to other countries, staff not being placed on the priority list for Kovid vaccination.
Despite being a front line worker, many Pilots, Cabin Crew, AMEs Engineers and other ground staff still have to be vaccinated for Covid19 ,
Even they go about their daily duties at Airports.
Captain Prasad, 57, of Mumbai, commander of the Boeing 777 Aircraft, K.K. J. Breathed his last at 1.30 am at Somaiya Hospital, Sion

Captain Prasad's wife is also hospitalized along with Covid.

The 71-year-old elder died at 6.15 am on Sunday.
