Job Description:
The Project Manager – Business Analysis and Reporting, Revenue Pipeline, plays a key role in supporting Delta’s technology and analytics initiatives by aligning commercial objectives with financial and operational solutions. This position works within the Revenue Pipeline Solutions Center (RPSC), contributing to strategic projects focused on improving customer experience, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting innovative revenue solutions across Delta’s business operations.
The role collaborates with cross-functional teams including Revenue Management, Commercial Operations, Information Technology, and Revenue Accounting to support data-driven decision-making, reporting accuracy, and process improvements. The position focuses on delivering reliable analytics, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the development of customer-focused products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct advanced financial and operational analysis related to passenger revenue, profitability, commissions, yield performance, and contractual agreements.
Gather and define business requirements for reporting and analytical solutions while coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Design, develop, test, and maintain structured queries, dashboards, and reports using Revenue Pipeline analytical systems.
Ensure reporting accuracy, optimize performance of reports and queries, and support data integrity initiatives.
Perform audits and validations to identify data quality issues and process improvement opportunities.
Manage project activities including planning, budgeting, prioritization, issue resolution, and implementation support.
Analyze and document process enhancements and recommend business and system improvements.
Support end-users by researching reporting questions, explaining data variances, and providing analytical guidance.
Develop and facilitate training sessions related to revenue data, reporting tools, and analytical processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert for Revenue Pipeline analytics, governance, and user access management.
Coordinate multiple projects and analytical initiatives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining operational excellence and compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
Strong experience with SQL, Python, and scripting languages
Proficiency in Tableau and other business intelligence and analytics tools
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Experience performing complex data analysis using large datasets
Strong understanding of analytical, financial, and operational processes
Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business leaders
Experience creating presentations and reports for senior management
Strong problem-solving, coaching, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
Commitment to safety, security, and data protection
High school diploma or equivalent qualification
Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, or another quantitative field
Advanced degree such as MBA, MA, or MS preferred
Experience in Revenue Accounting, Revenue Management, Financial Systems, Project Management, or Consulting
Familiarity with airline commercial or operational functions such as Reservations, Airport Customer Service, Sales, Finance, or eCommerce
Experience working in Agile environments and managing user stories throughout project lifecycles
Knowledge of analytical and accounting systems related to Airline operations and revenue management
