Airline Pay Cuts in India
[ Pay Cut by all Airlines]
Due to the current pandemic of COVID 19, many airlines are under loss and to combat with this calamity and to keep floating in the market, Airlines in India are deducting salaries of their employees.
They have announced pay cuts or leave without pay.
IndiGo announces a pay cut of up to 25% from April 1. While other executives above the senior vice president level would take cuts of 20%; Vice Presidents and Pilots would take a 15% cut, while others including cabin crew would take a 10% deductions.
Air India to have 10% pay cuts for next three months (mandatory leaves without pay)
InterGlobe Aviation Ltd to have pay cuts of 15% For Pilots and Top Management 25% Reduction in pay
GoAir to have 25% pay cuts
SpiceJet to lay off employees and also implement 30% pay cuts
Air Deccan – 25% pay cuts
Air Asia 20% cut
