Air Canada Cabin Crew Careers – Fly, Serve, and Inspire
About the Role
As a Flight Attendant at Air Canada, you will be more than just a service provider — you’ll be an ambassador for Canada in the skies. You’ll deliver safety, comfort, and hospitality to passengers, helping create a memorable travel experience from boarding to arrival. Based in either Toronto or Vancouver, you’ll undergo full-time training and join a team committed to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct safety procedures, briefings, and checks for every flight to ensure compliance with all airline and regulatory safety standards.
Welcome passengers aboard, assist them with seating, stowage of carry-on bags, special needs, and overall comfort.
Provide in-flight service: offering food, drinks, amenities, blankets, and assisting with entertainment systems.
Manage customer interactions with poise: respond to queries, handle disruptions, offer support during irregular operations (delays, turbulence, medical issues).
Coordinate with the flight deck crew to ensure smooth operations and coordinate safety and service protocols.
Maintain cabin cleanliness and orderliness before, during, and after flights; check for lost and found items.
Prepare and complete required reports, logs, safety documentation, and other post-flight paperwork.
Adhere to company policies on uniform, grooming, and professional presentation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid Canadian passport, with the ability to travel to the countries served by Air Canada.
Willingness to relocate to or be based in Toronto or Vancouver.
Must pass Air Canada’s medical requirements and maintain medical fitness.
Ability to obtain required security clearances and background checks (Transport Canada clearance).
Strong communication and customer service skills; the ability to work courteously with people from diverse backgrounds.
Flexibility with schedule: willing to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and be on call.
Impeccable personal grooming and professional appearance; ability to wear and maintain uniform standards.
Bilingualism (English & French) is preferred, and additional languages may be an asset.
Training & Location
You will undergo full-time training for approximately 7–8 weeks, held in Montreal or Vancouver.
Training is mandatory and includes safety, service, regulatory and emergency procedure training.
What Makes You a Great Fit
A safety-first mindset — always aware, vigilant, ready for unexpected situations.
Warm, personable, and hospitable — you enjoy helping people and making their journey comfortable.
Adaptable and resilient — able to cope with changing schedules, travel, shifting environments.
Team player — working well with others (cabin crew, flight deck, ground staff) to deliver seamless service.
Attention to detail, high standard of professionalism, and pride in representing the airline.
