πŸ›« What You’ll Do:

In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating Spirit Airlines’ pilot training programs. Your expertise will ensure our pilots are trained to the highest standards of safety, quality, and proficiency. Key responsibilities include:  


✅ Overseeing Instructor and Evaluator Pilots for consistent execution and staffing.  

✅ Collaborating with FAA, ALPA, and internal teams to maintain compliance and improve training effectiveness.  

✅ Managing all pilot training program elements—curricula, courseware, instructional aids, multimedia, and more.  

✅ Monitoring pilot proficiency and identifying opportunities for improvement through data analysis.  

✅ Supervising Crew Training Scheduling to ensure compliant scheduling of training events.  

✅ Leading continuous learning initiatives for Spirit’s Instructor/Evaluator group.  


This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to lead large-scale training programs while fostering a culture of excellence and standardization.

πŸ“ Qualifications: 

Education:πŸŽ“ Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft/Airline        Management  

Experience:πŸ“‹ 6-10 years of experience in Part 121 Flight Training or Flight Operations Management  


Certifications Required:

✈️ Airline Transport Pilot Certificate  

✈️ Three years’ Evaluator Pilot experience (Part 121, 142, or equivalent)  


Certifications Preferred:  

✈️ Airbus 320/321 PIC experience  

✈️ A320 Type Rating  


Skills:

πŸ’» Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products  

🧠 Proven leadership skills in managing large pilot training organizations  

πŸ“Š Strong analytical skills to monitor pilot proficiency and performance data  






πŸ›  Physical Requirements:

This role involves high activity levels with frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and coordination tasks. You must be able to utilize safety equipment such as gloves and boots when required.
