Ramp Agent Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Ramp Agent, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during peak travel seasons. Your responsibilities will include:

🛬 Preparing for aircraft arrival and departure by readying equipment like tow vehicles and belt-loaders.

📦 Safely loading and unloading baggage, cargo, and mail of various weights and sizes.

🚜 Operating ground service equipment such as tugs, tractors, belt loaders, bag carts, pushback tractors, and more (training provided!).

🛑 Marshaling aircraft to and from gates and ensuring ramp areas are safe.

🧼 Servicing aircraft as needed (e.g., cleaning interiors, replenishing supplies, deicing).

🔒 Conducting security searches on aircraft as required.

⚠️ Reporting safety and operational issues promptly.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Required Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Ability to work well in a team environment. 🤝

- Effective communication skills in English (written & verbal).

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 🚗

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions 🌦️ (extreme cold/heat).

💪Physical Demands:

This role requires lifting/moving up to 60 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds. You may also push/pull up to 300 pounds occasionally.

Schedule & Compensation

🕒Part-Time Seasonal Availability: Flexible shifts required during peak travel seasons:

- Spring Break: 4 shifts per week (February - April).

-Summer: 3 shifts per week (Memorial Day - Labor Day).

- Thanksgiving & Holidays: 4 shifts per week during holiday periods.

Preferred Qualifications✨ Previous ramp experience is a plus!

Work Environment

This position operates outdoors in all weather conditions—rain, shine, snow, or heat! 🌨️ Expect exposure to loud aircraft noise during arrivals and departures.
