DGCA Visits MPFC: A Boost for Indian Aviation Training

Indore, Madhya Pradesh – In a significant move for Indian aviation training, Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Shri Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, today visited The Madhya Pradesh Flying Club (MPFC), India's oldest and most respected flying training institution.

During his visit, DG Kidwai engaged with young trainee pilots, instructors, and key stakeholders to gain insights into the current state of pilot training. Chief Instructor Capt. Mandar Mahajan provided a comprehensive briefing on MPFC's flying training programs, admission process, and its rich legacy.

A notable point of discussion was MPFC's progressive policy of reserving 33% of admissions for girl cadets, showcasing its commitment to gender diversity in Indian aviation. Accountable Manager and Honorary Secretary Shri Milind Mahajan Ji also shared insights on evolving flight training needs and aligning with global standards.

DG Kidwai was accompanied by Shri SurajMal Ji, Joint Director General (JDG) Flying Training, and FOI Capt. Vijay Kumar. This landmark visit underscores a commitment to strengthening aviation education in India and highlights MPFC's continued leadership in shaping future Indian aviators.
