The Opportunity
We are excited to advise that we are currently seeking a Manager Aircraft Technical Data to join our Engineering team. In this role, you'll oversee the accurate management of ICA, maintenance data, and part data within our MIS system. Your responsibilities will include ensuring manuals and ICA are readily available to our Engineering team and customers, as well as providing support for aircraft movements and fleet development projects.
Reporting to the Manager Engineering Services, your main accountabilities will include:
Work closely with the Engineering Managers to maintain and actively manage regulatory compliance within the Maintenance Information System (MIS), including aircraft utilisation and maintenance data
Identify new methodologies and technology enablers to improve safety and compliance, and ensure regulatory compliance is maintained
Identify, prioritise, and manage initiatives/projects to improve fleet performance
Provide a technical/operational advisory service to key stakeholders
Build partnerships with internal & external stakeholders to ensure all fleet performance metrics are achieved
Manage, provide guidance, develop, and support team members
Support the introduction, transfer, and lease returns of aircraft within the MIS and FLYdocs.
Key to achieving success in this role will be your ability to balance the operational, daily reactive requirements of the role whilst maintaining your focus on strategic improvement opportunities and creating a performance and customer focused culture.
You will bring:
Proven ability to lead a diverse team across multiple disciplines
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of senior management
Trax managerial and supervisory access experience
Technical Data management within an airline or operator
Process driven, with experience in constructing new processes to deliver business goals
Highly motivated and committed to continuous improvement
Proven problem solving skills and an effective team leader
A genuine interest in leading others and creating a high performance, innovative team culture
