Overview:

WestJet Airlines, a leading Canadian airline known for its commitment to providing safe and enjoyable travel experiences, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Airline Flight Attendants. This role involves ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of passengers while delivering exceptional service on domestic and international flights.

Key Responsibilities:

Passenger Safety:

Conduct safety demonstrations and briefings to ensure passengers are aware of safety protocols.

Monitor compliance with safety regulations and assist passengers during emergencies.

Perform pre-flight safety checks and ensure the cabin and equipment are in proper working order.

Administer first aid and handle medical emergencies when necessary.

Customer Service:

Welcome passengers, verify boarding passes, and assist with seating arrangements.

Provide high-quality in-flight service, including meal and beverage service.

Address passenger inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.

Handle passenger complaints and resolve issues effectively.

Flight Operations:

Collaborate with the flight deck crew to ensure efficient flight operations.

Maintain cabin cleanliness and orderliness throughout the flight.

Prepare and secure the cabin for takeoff and landing.

Assist with boarding and deplaning procedures.

Team Collaboration:

Work harmoniously with fellow crew members to ensure a seamless travel experience.

Participate in pre-flight briefings and debriefings.

Foster a positive and cooperative team environment.

Qualifications:

Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or tourism is advantageous.

Experience: 

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or as a flight attendant is preferred.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.

Ability to manage emergencies and provide first aid.

Proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Capability to lift and carry heavy items.

Meet the height and reach requirements for accessing safety equipment.

Other:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Ability to pass a medical examination and background check.

Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally.
