Iceland's budget aviation company WoW Air has shut down its services due to which thousands of passengers traveling to Europe and North America have been caught in Airports.

This Airline was known for flights connecting Trans-Atlantic, which is the Atlantic crossing. It was also trying to save the loss-making company from the past few months.

The company has issued a statement saying, "WoW Air has stopped all its work, all the flights of WA Air have been canceled."

The company has asked travelers that they can take tickets in other companies' Aircrafts. The company has said, "Please contact the credit card company who has given money to the credit card company, who can take other agents for their agents for tickets from European agents."

At the same time, the company has said that passengers can also get compensation from VoA Air but they will be subject to European regulations.

The founder and owner of the company, school mogenson, has apologized to one thousand employees of the company and has said that they will not be able to forgive themselves for not getting any step in the beginning.

Approximately one third of those coming to Iceland used VoA Air flights and now the experts are worried that the impact of the closure of the company could have an impact on the country's tourism business.

For the past year, a thousand employees were working in the company and 35 lakh passengers traveled in 11 Airports of the company.

The company used to provide flight services in long distance apart from short distance places such as from Boston and Washington to USA and Copenhagen and Elicante city of Europe.

Traveler Rory Bolend of UK's website Ai says that on the day the company announced closure that day it was selling till 7.00 a.m. till Thursday morning, so passengers could come in and hear the declaration.

In recent times, many aviation companies in Europe have closed due to high prices of crude oil and tough competition.

Monarch and Air Berlin closed in 2017, in year 2018, closed Azur Air Germany, Cobalt Air, Primera Air, Small Planet Airlines and SkyWork closed. Air Italy and Meridina merged this year.

In 2019, Germania, Flimby and WoW Air Air suffered the brunt of the collapse of the market.
This year, renowned aviation firm Ryan Air also showed a loss in its first quarter.

आइसलैंड की बजट विमानन कंपनी वाओ एयर ने अपनी सेवाएं बंद कर दी हैं जिस वजह से यूरोप और उत्तरी अमरीका जाने वाले हज़ारों यात्री हवाईअड्डों में फंस गए हैं.

यह विमानन कंपनी ट्रांस-अटलांटिक यानी अटलांटिक के पार वाली जगहों को जोड़ने वाली उड़ानों के लिए जानी जाती थी. घाटे में चल रही इस कंपनी को बीते कुछ महीनों से बचाने की कोशिशें भी हो रही थी.

कंपनी ने एक बयान जारी कर कहा है, "वाओ एयर ने अपने सभी काम बंद कर दिए हैं. वाओ एयर की सभी उड़ानें रद्द कर दी गई हैं."

कंपनी ने यात्रियों से कहा है कि वो दूसरी कंपनियों के विमानों में टिकट ले सकते हैं. कंपनी ने कहा है, "क्रेडिट कार्ड से पैसा दे चुके यात्री क्रेडिट कार्ड कंपनी से संपर्क कर पता करें. जिन्होंने यूरोपीय एजेंटों से टिकटें ली थीं उनके लिए उनके एजेंट दूसरी उड़ानों की व्यवस्था कर सकते हैं."

साथ ही कंपनी ने कहा है कि यात्रियों को वाओ एयर से मुआवज़ा भी मिल सकता है लेकिन ये यूरोपीय नियमों के तहत ही होगा.

कंपनी के संस्थापक और मालिक स्कूली मोगेन्सन ने कंपनी के एक हज़ार कर्मचारियों से माफ़ी मांगी है और कहा है कि वे शुरुआत में कोई कदम ना उठा पाने के लिए खुद को कभी माफ़ नहीं कर पाएंगे.

आइसलैंड आने वाले लगभग एक तिहाई लोग वाओ एयर की उड़ानों का इस्तेमाल करते थे और अब जानकारों को चिंता है कि कंपनी के बंद होने का असर देश के पर्यटन व्यवसाय पर पड़ सकता है.

साल 2011 में कंपनी की स्थापना इसके मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी स्कूली मोगेन्सन ने की थी. साल 2012 में कंपनी ने उड़ानें शुरू की और धीरे-धीरे अपने पैर फैलाए.

बीते साल तक कंपनी में एक हज़ार कर्मचारी काम कर रहे थे और 35 लाख यात्रियों ने कंपनी के 11 हवाईजहाज़ों में यात्रा की थी.

कंपनी छोटी दूरी की जगहों के अलावा लंबी दूरी की जगहों में भी उड़ान सेवाएं देती थी जैसे अमरीका के बॉस्टन और वॉशिंगटन से ले कर कोपनहेगन और यूरोप के एलिकांते शहर में भी कंपनी की उड़ानें पहुंचती थीं.

ब्रिटेन की वेबसाइट Which के ट्रैवल संपादक रोरी बोलैन्ड कहते हैं कि जिस दिन कंपनी ने बंद होने की घोषणा की उस दिन सवेरे तक यानी गुरुवार सवेरे 7.00 बजे तक वो टिकटें बेच रही थी, इसलिए घोषणा सुन कर यात्री सकते में आ गए.

हाल के वक़्त में यूरोप में कई विमानन कंपनियां कच्चे तेल की ऊंची कीमतों और कड़ी प्रतिस्पर्धा के कारण बंद हो चुकी हैं.

साल 2017 में मोनार्च और एयर बर्लिन बंद हुई, साल 2018 में अज़ूर एयर जर्मनी, कोबाल्ट एयर, प्रीमेरा एयर, स्मॉल प्लानेट एयरलाइन्स और स्काईवर्क बंद हुई. इस साल एयर इटली और मेरीडिना का विलय हुआ था.

साल 2019 में जर्मनिया, फ्लिम्बी और वाओ एयर को बाज़ार के गिरती-उठती कीमतों का खामियाज़ा भुगतना पड़ा. इस साल जानीमानी विमानन कंपनी रायन एयर ने भी अपनी पहली तिमाही में घाटा दिखाया है.
