DGCA ने एक बयान में बताया कि स्थिति गंभीर है और आने वाले हफ्तों में जेट अपने उड़ रहे विमानों की संख्या और घटा सकती है।
नकदी संकट से जूझ रही जेट एयरवेज ने सोमवार को अपने 4 और विमानों को उड़ान भरने से रोक दिया था।
पट्टे पर लिए विमानों का किराया नहीं चुकाए जाने के चलते अब उसके सिर्फ 40 विमान ही उड़ान भर रहे हैं।
इस वजह से उसकी तमाम उड़ानें रद्द हो गई हैं।
जेट एयरवेज एक अरब डॉलर (करीब 6,895 करोड़ रुपये) से भी ज्यादा के कर्ज में डूबी है।
इस वजह से वह बैंकों, सप्लायरों, पायलटों को समय पर भुगतान नहीं कर पा रही है।
इनमें से कुछ ने एयरलाइन के साथ लीज डील को खत्म कर दिया है।

जेट एयरवेज ने बीएसई को सूचित किया था कि पट्टेदारों के बकाया राशि को नहीं चुकाने की वजह से उसने अपने चार विमानों के परिचालन को बंद कर दिया है।
वित्त मंत्रालय ने जेट एयरवेज की वित्तीय स्थिति स्टेट को लेकर बैंक ऑफ इंडिया के नेतृत्व में बैंकों से नियमित जानकारी उपलब्ध कराने को कहा था। हाल के महीनों में बैंकों ने रिवाइवल प्लान के बारे में साप्ताहिक रूप से जानकारी दी है और सरकार से भी सलाह मांगी है।

इससे एक दिन पहले जेट एयरवेज ने आबू धाबी में अपनी उड़ानों को रद्द कर दिया था, जिससे यात्रियों को काफी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा। वित्तीय संकट से जूझ रही जेट एयरवेज ने अपने पट्टेदारों का बकाया नहीं चुकाया है, जिस वजह से विमानन कंपनी लगातार अपने विमानों का परिचालन बंद कर रही है। कंपनी ने अब तक अपने 40 से अधिक विमान खड़े कर दिए हैं। कंपनी के सूत्रों ने बताया कि विमानन कंपनी ने अपने 123 विमानों में से 50 प्रतिशत का परिचालन बंद कर दिया गया है। इससे पहले सोमवार को भी इसी तरह से जेट एयरवेज ने बीएसई को सूचित किया था कि पट्टेदारों के बकाया राशि को नहीं चुकाने की वजह से उसने अपने चार विमानों के परिचालन को बंद कर दिया है।
