About British Airways
As Ground Staff at British Airways, you will be the first point of contact for passengers, ensuring a seamless airport experience through check-in, boarding, baggage handling, and customer service. You’ll play a vital role in upholding the safety, efficiency, and hospitality standards of the airline.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist passengers during check-in and boarding processes
Manage baggage handling, tagging, and lost luggage claims
Provide information and assistance to passengers with special needs
Ensure smooth coordination between flight crew and ground operations
Maintain safety and security protocols at all stages of ground handling
Handle passenger queries and complaints with professionalism
Collaborate with airport and airline teams to ensure timely departures and arrivals
Update and manage passenger data using airport systems
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Good command over English (spoken and written)
Knowledge of airport procedures and customer service experience is a plus
Physically fit to handle baggage and extended standing hours
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
