Abour Your Job:

In this role, you will develop, manage and market the website, maintain its position as a key direct sales channel for the airline, driving qualified traffic to the website in order to increase conversion rate and achieve targets for revenue and online penetration for Qatar Airways. You will identify, plan and implement sales initiatives, e-marketing activities, manage site content and eliminate any technical bugs in order to increase sales, strengthen strategic online partnerships and improve overall customer experience on You will also manage the Privilege Club in terms of growth and activity rate and implement campaigns geared towards achieving annual targets. 

Specific accountabilities include:

• Plan and implement a program of promotional offers, value-add and ancillary product propositions to achieve revenue and yield improvement penetration targets for

• Design and manage online marketing activity to increase relevant traffic flow and sales conversion, using PPC, SEO, viral, display, email marketing, social media and affiliate campaigns, ensuring delivery of all campaign applications on time, to budget and to the highest standard

• Analyse web traffic statistics and ROI of all e-marketing campaigns, compile regular and ad-hoc reports to senior management on site behaviour and campaign impact

• Provide specialist knowledge to teams in regards to Search Engine Marketing, email marketing, Affiliate programmes, online marketing partnership and relationship management, display advertising and social media

• Devises and proposes sales strategies for the continued growth of, including regular benchmarking against key competitors

• Promotes actively the use of emerging technologies and techniques to provide an online experience which stands over and above our competitors

About You:

To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree or equivalent in marketing or e-commerce combined with at least four years of experience in a similar role. Exposure to B2C e-marketing and online travel retail channels are an advantage. You will need demonstrated experience and results in managing at least two of the following areas: Search Engine Marketing, Email Marketing, Affiliate Programs, account management of online marketing partnerships, display advertising and social media. 

You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English to perform this role.
