JOB DESCRIPTION:-
The job purpose outlined in the provided information is to represent Emirates and enhance customer service for both arriving and departing customers at the airport. The role involves ensuring operational criteria are met within specified time frames, following the company's commercial, safety, and security policies.
The job outline includes various responsibilities:
Customer Assistance:
Provide assistance to customers on arrival and departure, ensuring high-quality and professional customer service. Cater to the specific needs of different customer categories, such as unaccompanied minors and those with reduced mobility.
Chauffeur Coordination:
Coordinate the airport operation of chauffeur-driven limousines for eligible customers after arrival and open the Emirates arrival information desk.
Immigration Monitoring:
Monitor arrival immigration processes, retrieve relevant documentation, and report accordingly to ensure compliance with travel, immigration, and safety regulations.
Check-In and Boarding Support:
Assist in check-in procedures, boarding at the gates, announcements, hand baggage removal, and other tasks to ensure safe and on-time departure of flights.
Baggage Services:
Monitor baggage delivery performance, inform customers about any delays or irregularities, and ensure efficient baggage delivery service. Monitor files creation and quality of baggage services as per Emirates Standard Operating Procedure.
Documentation and Statistical Reporting:
Assist in the preparation and completion of pre and post-flight documentation and statistical information to ensure accurate data accounting.
Problem Resolution:
Handle problems such as delays, disruptions, excess baggage, or denied boarding, following guidelines provided by senior staff to retain customer confidence and loyalty.
Ticketing/Reservation:
Undertake ticketing and reservation duties, including issuing tickets, EMD, EBT, making and amending reservations, and re-issuing and re-calculating fares. Verify credit card transactions and assist with banking duties.
Emirates Lounge Support:
Provide support duties in the Emirates lounge when required. Liaise with service providers, supervise contracted staff, and ensure service standards are met and maintained.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 'O' Level or equivalent.
Completion of relevant and recognized professional training courses in Customer Services and Ground Operations.
Knowledge of Basic Fares and Ticketing is advantageous.
Minimum of 2 years of Airline Industry experience is required.
Knowledge/Skills:
Fluency in written and spoken English and the local language.
Customer Service Delivery.
