Job Title: Auditor Quality Assurance at Jet Blue in United States

Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for performing audits as mandated by Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) 121.373. This role involves conducting reviews and audits of internal programs and external business partners' facilities, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and conduct internal and external audits in the following areas:
Line Station
Fuel Farm
Fuel Into-Plane
Essential Maintenance (Operations Spec D91)
RepAir Station
Make recommendations for adding or removing vendors from the Approved Vendor list based on audit assessments.
Investigate incidents and events involving external business partners or their products, goods, and services provided to JetBlue.
Maintain audit records in compliance with General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) policies and procedures.
Analyze audit findings or reliability reports to identify trends that affect JetBlue's services or business partners, as part of the JetBlue CASS.
Evaluate audit responses and provide recommendations for regulatory compliance.
Provide technical and regulatory assistance to other departments to support day-to-day operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in commercial Aircraft Maintenance, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or equivalent Military experience.
Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a 14 CFR Part 121 Air Carrier Quality or Maintenance environment (Military experience may substitute for 121 experience).
Strong working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
Possess and maintain a valid passport, with the ability to travel internationally.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets JetBlue’s insurance standards.
Willingness to travel overnight (up to 50% of the time).
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
Authorization to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not available for this position).
Crewmember Expectations:
Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Flexibility to work on short notice and outside standard business hours.
Adherence to professional appearance standards.
When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, assist with light Aircraft cleaning if needed.
Promote JetBlue’s value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting the company’s Safety Management System (SMS), policies, and standards.
Report safety or security concerns, incidents, or hazards through JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (ASAP or SAR).
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and company policies, procedures, and risk controls.
Contribute to the achievement of JetBlue’s safety performance goals.
