Role Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical and skilled Innovation Engineer with a focus on Data and Insights to join our Business Improvement and Innovation team within the Engineering department. In this role, you will be instrumental in turning strategic initiatives into data-driven solutions that optimize operations and support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Research: Conduct in-depth analysis and research in data analytics and insights to drive efficiency and innovation.
Solution Development: Utilize data insights to guide the development of solutions that enhance processes and improve operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate specialized knowledge into Engineering operations.
Metrics & KPIs: Establish and monitor metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of improvement initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
Professional Qualifications: Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Six Sigma, or other relevant data science qualifications.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in data extraction, analysis, and presentation tools. Proficiency with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS and Azure. Experience with programming languages like Python, R, and SQL for data analysis.
Analytical Skills: Advanced skills in statistical analysis with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Collaboration & Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills to build trust with business users.
Continuous Learning: A mindset focused on continuous learning and improvement.

Desirable Experience:

Experience with Data Visualization tools, such as Power BI.
Proven track record of utilizing data analytics to drive process improvements and strategic decision-making.
