Job Title: Repairs Controller - Repairs

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Repairs Controller - Repairs to join our Procurement Team at our Head Office near Brisbane Airport. In this exciting new role, you'll collaborate closely with the Repair and Parts Sales Manager, conducting vital logistical analysis and coordinating the flow of repairable materials across the Alliance Airlines network. Your work will ensure safety, efficiency, and cost control in support of our Line, Base, and Workshop Maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general procurement tasks, including forecasting, analysis, and inventory review, to maintain optimal material efficiency.
Collaborate with the Repair Manager and Head of Department on critical, time-sensitive aircraft component projects, including managing airframe teardowns and identifying parts sale opportunities.
Analyze and resolve issues related to repairable materials, escalating to senior management when necessary.
Provide accurate and timely procurement data and documentation, utilizing reporting tools to measure performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
Build strong relationships with management and suppliers, stay informed on industry trends, and contribute to document development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work independently and as part of a team, supporting audits and staff development while adapting to shift and location changes as required.

Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate has experience in Aviation or a related industry (such as Pharmacy or Dangerous Goods) and is familiar with inventory management systems. You should be eager to embrace new challenges and the growth of our airline. A background in procurement and supplier management is essential, along with an understanding of the operational objectives and pressure points of the Aviation business.

Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications in procurement and contracting.
Ability to develop and implement processes, analyze data, and apply strong analytical and reasoning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer proficiency, and strong numeracy.
Proven ability to work both autonomously and within a team, with keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
A proactive approach, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks while maintaining accuracy and adhering to work instructions.
