Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Project Management to establish and lead the Project Management Office (PMO) at Alliance Airlines. In this high-impact role, you will partner with the CEO and executive leadership to transform our project delivery processes, ensuring projects align with business objectives and deliver standout results. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing governance frameworks that enhance organizational efficiency, driving the success of large-scale aviation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

PMO Establishment & Governance: Develop and implement governance frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure effective delivery and alignment of projects with strategic business goals.
Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet intended strategic outcomes.
Process Improvement: Drive continuous process improvements, risk management strategies, and benefits realization across the organization through effective planning and execution.
Leadership & Mentoring: Provide leadership, coaching, and support to both internal and external project teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
Risk & Issue Management: Coordinate the identification and resolution of risks and issues impacting successful program delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and other teams to manage vendor contracts and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
Reporting & Analytics: Monitor project performance, develop reports, and present findings to the executive leadership team for informed decision-making.

Key Requirements:

Project Management Expertise: Extensive experience in Project Management, preferably within aviation, logistics, or related industries.
Formal Qualifications: PRINCE2, PMBOK, or equivalent certifications in project management methodologies.
Leadership & Change Management: Proven ability to establish PMO and Change Management functions, with experience in risk management and framework development.
Stakeholder Management: Strong leadership skills with emotional intelligence and the ability to engage teams, stakeholders, and executive management.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, and standard PMO practices for large organizations.
Planning & Execution: Expertise in scheduling, critical thinking, decision-making, and delivering complex projects involving multi-disciplinary teams.
