Job Duties:

Safety and Customer Service:


Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers onboard.

Provide exceptional customer service, including serving meals and drinks.

Responsibilities:


Prepare, serve, and restock in-flight items.

Greet passengers, assist with carry-on baggage, and make onboard announcements.

Provide effective leadership in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Age and Education:


Must be at least 21 years old.

High school diploma or equivalency required.

Travel Documents:


Possession of a current, valid U.S. or foreign passport and any necessary visas.

Communication Skills:


Excellent English communication skills for safety information and report writing.

Technical Skills:


Comfortable using electronic devices and PEDs for various tasks.

Availability:


Willing to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Able to travel frequently and spend extended periods alone.

Relocation:


Must be willing to relocate to one of the assigned crew domiciles after training.

Physical and Appearance Requirements:

Height and Weight:


Must meet specific aircraft dimensions (5’0” to 6’0” without shoes).

Physical Ability:


Able to perform tasks requiring walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

Vision and hearing within specified ranges.

Appearance:


Overall professional, neat, and clean appearance.

Restrictions on extreme hairstyles, colours, piercings, and tattoos


Training:

Initial New Hire Training is conducted in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the SkyWest Airlines Hangar.

The first phase of training lasts 35 consecutive days with three non-consecutive days off.

Trainees are responsible for covering expenses such as meals, groceries, training attire, and laundry facilities during training.

Professional behaviour is expected at all times during training and at the training hotel.

Additional Considerations:

Trainees are responsible for additional costs, including relocation expenses, shoes, luggage, a lunch bag, and living expenses during breaks between training phases.

Holiday or per diem pay is not provided during training.

Domestic round-trip air travel may be provided to and from Salt Lake City for training, depending on location.
