Job Title: Spirit Airlines Pilot

Location: Various base locations across the United States

Job Type: Full-time

Overview:

Spirit Airlines is looking for qualified and skilled Pilots to join our exciting team,   As a Spirit Airlines Pilot, you will play a critical role in providing our passengers with safe and efficient air transportation,   We are searching for people that are committed to maintaining the greatest levels of professionalism, safety, and customer service,  

Responsibilities:

Flight Operations:

Spirit Airlines aircraft must be operated in a safe and efficient way, in accordance with all applicable legislation and corporate policy,  

Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks to verify the aircraft's airworthiness,  

To guarantee timely and safe arrivals and departures, follow flight plans and air traffic control directions,  

Safety and Compliance:

Maintain a high level of safety awareness and promote a safety culture among the flight crew and other staff members,  

Stay current with all relevant regulations, procedures, and industry best practices,  

Participate in recurrent training programs to enhance skills and knowledge,  

Communication:

Effectively communicate with air traffic control, cabin crew, and ground personnel,  

Collaborate with the flight crew to ensure smooth and coordinated operations,  

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service to passengers, demonstrating a professional and courteous demeanor,  

Address passenger concerns or inquiries in a timely and respectful manner,  

Emergency Response:

Show expertise in emergency procedures and respond to any in-flight or land emergencies calmly and decisively,  

In an emergency, coordinate with relevant authorities and adhere to established protocols,  

Record Keeping:

Keep accurate and current records of flight logs, duty times, and other needed documents,  

Ensure that the company's record-keeping procedures are followed,  

Qualifications:

A current Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is required,  

Medical certificate of first or second class,  

Minimum flight experience required by the FAA,  

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities,  

Working ability in a dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere,  

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities,  

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree (recommended) in aviation or a related area,  

Prior commercial Pilot experience is preferred,
