Job Overview:

As Airline Pilots, American Airlines is looking for highly skilled and driven professionals to join our team,  As a critical member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, providing great service to our customers, and upholding American Airlines' high standards, 

Responsibilities:

Flight Operations:

Operate and command the assigned aircraft safely and in accordance with all applicable legislation, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures, 

Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections to guarantee the aircraft's airworthiness, 

Navigation and Communication:

Navigate and interact with air traffic control and other relevant authorities successfully, 

To guarantee appropriate operation, monitor and interpret data from aircraft instruments and systems, 

Emergency Response:

Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers and staff in critical situations by demonstrating expertise in emergency procedures and protocols, 

Decision Making:

Use sound judgment and decision-making skills, especially in adverse weather or unforeseen circumstances, 

Team Collaboration:

To guarantee a smooth and effective operation, work fluidly with the entire flight crew, ground workers, and other necessary departments, 

Customer Service:

Provide great customer service to passengers while upholding American Airlines' beliefs and standards, 

Continuous Learning:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, laws, and technical breakthroughs, and actively participate in continuous training and development programmes, 

Compliance:

All Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) laws, company policies, and safety protocols must be followed, 

Requirements:

Education and Certification:

Bachelor's degree preferred, 

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate required, 

Flight Experience:

Minimum of 1,500 hours total flight time, 

Experience in a multi-engine aircraft preferred, 

License and Ratings:

Current and valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate, 

Valid ATP certificate with appropriate type ratings, 

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, 

Physical Fitness:

Ability to pass and maintain FAA-mandated physical and medical examinations, 

Team Player:

Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse and dynamic team,
