Job Summary:

JetBlue Airways is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team of professional Pilots. As a JetBlue Airways Pilot, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers while delivering exceptional service. We are looking for individuals with a passion for Aviation, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Flight Operations:

Safely operate and command JetBlue Aircraft in accordance with established procedures and regulations.

Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure all safety protocols are followed.

Execute precise take-offs, landings, and maneuvers in various weather conditions.

Communication and Collaboration:

Maintain clear and effective communication with Air traffic control, cabin crew, and other relevant stakeholders.

Collaborate with fellow crew members to ensure seamless coordination during all phases of flight.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to and uphold all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company policies.

Monitor and assess weather conditions, making informed decisions to ensure the safety of the flight.

Emergency Response:

Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures and take decisive actions in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on emergency protocols and Aviation industry developments.

Customer Service:

Provide a welcoming and reassuring environment for passengers.

Address passenger concerns professionally and represent JetBlue Airways in a positive manner.

Qualifications:

Education and Certification:

Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.

First or Second-Class Medical Certificate.

Experience:

Minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.

Experience as a Pilot-in-command (PIC) preferred.

Previous experience on JetBlue Aircraft or similar fleet is an asset.

Skills:

Exceptional flying and decision-making skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:

Must be able to pass a thorough background check and drug screening.

Willingness to adhere to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
