Job Overview:

Jetstar Airways is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a customer service representative. In this position, you will play a critical role in ensuring that passengers have a happy and stress-free travel experience. As the face of Jetstar, you will be responsible for providing great customer service, resolving inquiries, and addressing problems in order to increase overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

 Through multiple communication channels (phone, email, chat), help travellers with booking inquiries, flight information, and general travel-related support.

Issue Resolution:

Assure a high degree of customer satisfaction by immediately and competently resolving complaints, difficulties, and concerns from customers.

Booking Support:

Assist with changes to reservations, cancellations, and other relevant requests while following corporate guidelines and protocols.

Information Dissemination: 

Provide clients with accurate and current information on airline schedules, baggage regulations, travel paperwork, and other pertinent factors.

Collaboration:

Work together with other divisions, such as flight operations and ground services, to provide a smooth and well-planned client experience.

Proactive Communication: 

Proactively communicate with passengers about aircraft delays, cancellations, and other disruptions, offering alternatives and mitigating any impact.

Qualifications:

• A high school graduation or similar is required, with some college education recommended.

• Prior customer service experience, ideally in the aviation business, is required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• The ability to stay cool and composed under duress.

• Knowledgeable about computer systems and airline reservation systems.

• Work in shifts, including on weekends and holidays.
