Required Skills and Knowledge

• 206, AS350, 205, 212, BK 117 or any combination of the above type ratings.
• Valid Driver’s License without restrictions

4.     JET Simulator Instructor Pilot, Full Time

·      Minimum Requirements 

·      Must be authorized to work in Canada 

·      Must have an ATP certificate and unrestricted PIC type rating 

·      B737 NG or CRJ experience or type rating strongly preferred 

·      Must have basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and other internet-based programs 

·      Must be fluent in English 

·      Flexibility to work weekends and night shifts

              Qualifications 

·      Current Canadian Commercial Helicopter License 

·      Preferred 1000 hours total time 

·      Bell 412 endorsement, and/or 

·      Bell 407 endorsement 

·      500 hours PIC on type (BH41) required 

·      500 hours PIC on type (BH407) required 

·      Collaborative, independent and professional attitude required 

·      Previous fire-fighting experience required 

·      Precision long line experience providing drill support/moves required 

·      Experience in mountainous terrain and confined landing sites required 

·      Strong focus on client service required 

·      Heli-Ski experience would be an asset 

·      HAC Mountain Course would be an asset

·      Master's Degree

Qualifications:

·      Must meet Transport Canada qualifications for 705 operations including; 

·      Must hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot’s License, a valid Instrument Rating for which a Canadian type certificate has been issued authorizing the transport of 20 or more passengers; 

·      Must have at least 3 years aeroplane experience as Pilot-in-Command in the weight group more than 100,000 lbs; 

·      Be able to demonstrate knowledge to the Minister with respect to the content of the entire series of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs); 
Swoop Airlines Company Operations Manuals, the Approved Check Pilot Manual and the provisions of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and Standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position;

·      Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills with demonstrated success in establishing respect and credibility through actions; 

·      Previous managerial and supervisory experience with strong demonstrated facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills required;
