Qualifications:
◾️Has attained Lead Auditor accreditation;
◾️Formal training in SMS;
◾️Formal training in Workplace Training and Assessment (Cert IV in TAA or similar);
◾️Preferably Cert IV or above in OHS and Workplace Training and Assessment.
◾️Training in Human Factors and Non-Technical Skills;
◾️Training in Accident and incident investigation.

Experience required includes:
◾️Broad experience in Aviation or a similar field.
◾️Demonstrated knowledge of the regulations (including MOS and CASR Parts 42 and 145);
◾️Proven experience (at least two years) in the development, implementation, management, operation and maintenance of a Safety and Quality Management System and activities;
◾️Sound knowledge of Quality and Safety management principles and practices;
Responsibilities include:
◾️The planning, conducting, recording and reporting of the Company's quality and safety audit program. Assist external auditors.
◾️The ongoing maintenance, management, review and revision of the quality and safety management system including the production and amendment of safety procedures and documentation.
◾️Providing timely advice and assistance on safety matters to staff & managers.
◾️Administering an internal safety reporting system for incidents and hazards.
◾️Carrying out safety investigations where required.
◾️Ensuring safety training and education is provided to staff and records of completion are maintained.
◾️Managing the company Human Factors and Non-technical skills training program
