Key Requirements:

Valid Australian ATPL: Must possess a current Australian Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
Command Instrument Rating: Hold a valid Command Instrument Rating, essential for ensuring flight safety in various weather conditions.

Experience:

Total Flight Time: A minimum of 3000 hours of total flight time, demonstrating extensive experience and expertise in aviation.
Command Time: At least 2500 hours of command time, showcasing strong leadership and decision-making skills in the cockpit.
Multi-Engine Command: A minimum of 500 hours in command of multi-engine aircraft, indicating proficiency in handling complex aircraft systems.
Night Flying: At least 100 hours of night flying experience, ensuring capability in operating flights during nighttime conditions.

Responsibilities:

Flight Operations: Conduct safe and efficient flight operations, adhering to all aviation regulations and company policies.

Plan and execute flight plans in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage the performance of the aircraft during all phases of flight.

Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the flight crew, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.

Mentor and develop co-pilots and other flight crew members.
Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the cockpit.

Safety Management: Prioritize safety at all times, making informed decisions to maintain the highest safety standards.

Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections and safety checks.
Respond effectively to in-flight emergencies and unusual situations.

Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to passengers, ensuring a positive and comfortable flight experience.

Communicate clearly and courteously with passengers and cabin crew.
Address passenger concerns and ensure their safety and comfort.

Continuous Improvement: Engage in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.

Participate in regular training sessions and simulator exercises.
Stay updated on changes in aviation regulations and technology.

Qualifications:

Licensing: Maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as required by aviation authorities.
Medical Fitness: Meet the medical standards for pilot certification, ensuring the ability to perform the duties required of a captain.
Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with crew, passengers, and air traffic control.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and proficiency in operating aircraft systems and equipment.
