Job Description: Operations Agent at SouthWest Airline in USA

Our Operations Agents carry out important tasks “above the wing” in the airport, including finalizing details of the weight and balance of aircraft, providing an efficient and hospitable boarding experience for Customers, and coordinating with other workgroups to facilitate a flight’s departure. They play a quarterback role in readying a flight for departure while providing Southwest Hospitality to both Internal and External Customers daily. Operations Agents are strong communicators who enjoy working as a part of a Team in a dynamic, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Finalize Aircraft Weight and Balance: Ensure accurate calculation and documentation of aircraft weight and balance, adhering to safety regulations and operational standards.
Efficient and Hospitable Boarding Experience: Facilitate a smooth and welcoming boarding process for customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and courteously.
Coordination with Workgroups: Collaborate effectively with other airport workgroups, including ground operations, gate agents, and flight crews, to ensure timely and seamless flight departures.
Flight Readiness: Act as the central coordinator for all pre-departure activities, ensuring all necessary preparations are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional Southwest Hospitality to both internal and external customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
