Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety and Emergency Procedures:
Conduct pre-flight safety checks of emergency equipment, ensuring everything is in working order.
Deliver safety briefings to passengers, explaining the use of seat belts, oxygen masks, life vests, and emergency exits.
Respond to and manage emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fire, and evacuation procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all emergency procedures and safety regulations.
2. Customer Service Excellence:
Greet passengers warmly as they board the aircraft and assist with finding seats and storing carry-on luggage.
Address passenger queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Provide exceptional in-flight service, including serving meals, snacks, beverages, and duty-free items.
Ensure that all passengers are comfortable and address any special needs, such as dietary restrictions or medical requirements.
3. Cabin Preparation and Maintenance:
Prepare the cabin for boarding by ensuring cleanliness and tidiness, and checking that all safety equipment is in place.
Conduct pre-flight briefings with other crew members to review flight details, service procedures, and emergency protocols.
Regularly check and restock supplies, including first aid kits, refreshments, and safety materials.
4. In-Flight Operations:
Assist passengers with seat adjustments, overhead bin storage, and any issues that arise during the flight.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and aviation regulations during the flight.
Manage cabin temperature, lighting, and entertainment systems to enhance passenger comfort.
5. Post-Flight Duties:
Conduct post-flight inspections to ensure the cabin is cleaned and restocked for the next flight.
Assist passengers with disembarking, providing support as needed.
Report any incidents, issues, or maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
Qualifications:
Age Requirement:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Higher education or specialized training is an asset.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable.
Travel Documents:
Must possess a valid passport and be eligible for international travel.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for extended periods, and manage physical tasks required for safety checks and service duties.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
Prior experience in customer service or the aviation industry is preferred but not required.
