About the Role:

As a Contact Centre Representative at WestJet, you will be an integral part of our team, delivering exceptional customer service and support to our guests. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers via phone, email, or chat, providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries regarding flight reservations, cancellations, and general travel information.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer concerns or issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and a positive experience.

  • Information Provision: Offer accurate information on flight schedules, ticketing policies, baggage handling, and other travel-related topics.

  • Sales Support: Assist customers with the purchase of additional services, upgrades, and other travel-related products, contributing to the growth of our revenue.

  • Documentation: Accurately document customer interactions and maintain records of service requests and resolutions.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.

  • Adherence to Policies: Follow WestJet’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain the highest standards of service.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Canadian Citizenship: You must be a Canadian citizen or hold a valid Canadian permanent residency card πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

  • Fluency in English: Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication πŸ—£️

  • Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience in a customer service and/or sales-related environment is required πŸ’Ό

  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute ⌨️

  • Flexible Schedule: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including potential shifts and overtime πŸ•’

  • Background Check: Ability to complete and pass a criminal background check πŸ”

Training:

If selected, you will need to participate in a seven-week paid training course to familiarize yourself with WestJet’s systems, policies, and procedures πŸ“š
