The Position:

As an Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice with Alliance Airlines, you will be an essential part of our Aircraft Maintenance Engineering team. You will assist in the efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks while working towards achieving the Aircraft Maintenance Trade Qualification – Certificate IV in Aeroskills. This role offers you the chance to specialize in one of the following trade streams:

Avionics: For candidates interested in electronics, communication, and computer systems.
Mechanical: For those with a keen interest in engines, hydraulics, air conditioning, and fuel systems.
Structures: For individuals who are passionate about the repair and manufacture of metal and composite structural components, with a strong emphasis on hand skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Maintenance Tasks: Support the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering team in completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
Learning and Development: Gain practical experience and technical knowledge required to achieve the Aircraft Maintenance Trade Qualification.
Safety and Quality: Adhere to high standards of safety, quality, and work output while performing maintenance tasks.

Specific Requirements:

Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a security clearance and hold a valid Aviation Security Identification Card.
Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills.
Mathematics Skills: Competence in basic mathematics.
Motivation and Growth: Self-motivated with the ability to learn and grow into a trade-qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Computing Skills: Well-developed computing skills.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think laterally and solve problems.
Time Management: Sound time management skills.
Pre-vocational Course: Completion of an Aircraft Pre-vocational course is highly desirable.
