Job Description:

As an Airport Security Personnel at Qatar Airways, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers, employees, and airport property. You will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment by implementing and enforcing security protocols and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Screening:

Conduct thorough screening of passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced security equipment.
Monitor and operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security devices.
Identify and respond to potential security threats, ensuring compliance with airport and airline regulations.

Access Control:

Monitor access to restricted areas within the airport, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
Verify identification and credentials of passengers, staff, and visitors.

Surveillance and Monitoring:

Utilize CCTV systems and other surveillance tools to monitor airport activities.
Respond to alarms and suspicious activities, coordinating with law enforcement and other security teams.

Emergency Response:

Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and other incidents.
Provide clear and concise communication to passengers and staff during emergencies.

Customer Service:

Provide assistance and information to passengers, ensuring a positive and secure travel experience.
Handle inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications:

Education:

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in security or law enforcement is an advantage.

Experience:

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

Strong observational and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary security clearances.
Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
