We're on the lookout for a talented Flight Safety Specialist to join our esteemed Operational Integrity and Safety team (OI&S). At Air New Zealand, we're not just known for our name and innovation, but also for our unwavering commitment to excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and mitigate operational-related flight safety threats
Conduct, coordinate, and manage flight safety investigations & audits
Analyse operational flight safety occurrences and recommend improvements
Support the promotion of flight safety initiatives and activities
Develop flight safety training and communication strategies
Foster Air New Zealand's Safety and Reporting Culture, embracing Just Culture principles.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in multi-crew pilot operations, preferably within an airline
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Understanding of SMS and risk management
Knowledge of aviation regulatory frameworks and compliance.

Education & Skills:

Applicable aviation licence or equivalent.
Qualified Auditor.
Proficient in Safety Management Systems and investigation protocols.
Skilled in influencing decision-makers and building effective relationships.
