Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Soft Skills Trainer to join our team. The Soft Skills Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs focused on enhancing essential interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various soft skills areas, including but not limited to communication, emotional intelligence, teamwork, leadership, and time management. Through engaging and interactive training sessions, the Soft Skills Trainer will empower participants to cultivate these skills and apply them effectively in their daily lives and professional endeavors.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and develop comprehensive training curriculum and materials covering a range of soft skills topics, tailored to the needs of diverse audiences and industries.
Training Delivery:
Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars both in-person and virtually, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques and methodologies to maximize participant engagement and learning outcomes.
Needs Assessment:
Conduct thorough needs assessments and gap analyses to identify the specific soft skills development needs of individuals and organizations, and tailor training programs accordingly.
Evaluation and Feedback:
Assess the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics, and continuously refine and improve content and delivery methods based on feedback and evaluation results.
Consultation and Coaching:
Provide one-on-one coaching and consultation to individuals seeking to enhance specific soft skills areas, offering personalized guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand organizational objectives and training needs, and develop customized training solutions that align with strategic priorities.
Stay Current:
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging research in the field of soft skills development, and incorporate relevant insights into training content and delivery methods.
Qualifications:
ü Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
ü Proven experience as a Soft Skills Trainer or similar role, with a track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
ü Strong understanding of various soft skills areas, including communication, emotional intelligence, teamwork, leadership, and time management.
ü Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
ü Experience with instructional design methodologies, curriculum development, and adult learning principles.
ü Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
ü Certification in training, coaching, or related field is a plus.
ü Proficiency in MS Office and instructional technology tools.
