Responsibilities:
Strategic Recruitment:
Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and retain talented pilots.
Collaborate with HR and flight operations teams to forecast hiring needs and plan recruitment activities.
Utilize industry networks, recruitment channels, and partnerships to source qualified candidates.
Candidate Assessment and Selection:
Conduct thorough screening, assessment, and evaluation of pilot applications and qualifications.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, simulator assessments, and other selection processes.
Ensure all assessments align with Etihad’s standards, regulatory requirements, and cultural fit.
Candidate Experience:
Provide a seamless and positive candidate experience from application through onboarding.
Communicate effectively with candidates, keeping them informed about their application status and next steps.
Represent Etihad Airways professionally at recruitment events, career fairs, and industry conferences.
Compliance and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, assessment results, and recruitment activities.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and ethical standards throughout the hiring process.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to pilot recruitment and selection.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate closely with HR, flight operations, training, and regulatory compliance teams to streamline onboarding and integration processes.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing recruitment practices, pilot retention, and career development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience in pilot recruitment, aviation personnel management, or related fields.
Deep understanding of aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices in pilot selection.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
