Job Summary:

The Inflight Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inflight operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and compliance with safety regulations. This role involves leading and supporting the cabin crew, implementing service improvements, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Supervision: 

Lead, motivate, and support the inflight team to deliver excellent service and operational excellence.

Safety & Compliance: 

Ensure all inflight operations comply with aviation safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Operational Efficiency: 

Optimize inflight processes to improve efficiency, resource management, and service delivery.

Customer Experience: 

Enhance the passenger experience through continuous service enhancements and effective resolution of customer issues.

Training & Development: 

Oversee the training and development programs for cabin crew members, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet operational and service standards.

Performance Management: 

Monitor and evaluate crew performance, providing feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.

Crisis Management: 

Manage and respond to inflight incidents and emergencies with professionalism, ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers and crew.

Collaboration: 

Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of inflight services with overall airline operations.

Requirements:

Experience: 

Minimum of 5 years of experience in inflight services or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Education: 

Bachelor's degree in aviation management, hospitality, or a related discipline preferred.

Skills: 

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and inspire teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Certifications: 

Current First Aid and CPR certification. Familiarity with aviation safety regulations (e.g., CAA NZ).

Other: 

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Ability to travel as required.
