Job Description:
As a Flight Attendant with Regional Express Airline, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing in-flight safety procedures, and representing the airline in a professional and friendly manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Security:
Conduct pre-flight safety checks and ensure the aircraft is secure.
Provide safety demonstrations and briefings to passengers.
Respond to and manage in-flight emergencies and medical situations.
Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and company policies.
Customer Service:
Greet passengers and assist with boarding and seating arrangements.
Serve meals, snacks, and beverages to passengers.
Address passenger inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
Provide special assistance to passengers with specific needs, including children, elderly, and disabled passengers.
In-Flight Duties:
Monitor and maintain cabin cleanliness and appearance.
Assist passengers with carry-on luggage and stowage.
Prepare the aircraft for landing and ensure passengers are seated and secured.
Conduct post-flight checks and ensure the cabin is ready for the next flight.
Qualifications:
Minimum age of 19 years.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality, tourism, or customer service is a plus.
Valid Canadian passport or the ability to obtain one.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Fluency in English; bilingualism (French and/or other languages) is an asset.
Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Must be able to pass a background check and obtain security clearance.
Physical ability to perform the duties of a flight attendant, including reaching overhead bins, standing for extended periods, and assisting with emergency procedures.
