The Position of Second Officer (Pilot) in the Flight Operations department at  Ryanair Airline.


Ryanair Airline is seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our Flight Operations team as a Second Officer (Pilot). This role is fundamental to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and smooth operation of our flights. As a Second Officer, you will support the Captain and First Officer in various flight duties, contributing to our reputation for punctuality and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


Pre-Flight Preparation:

Assist the flight crew in comprehensive pre-flight planning, including reviewing flight plans, weather forecasts, and aircraft performance data.


In-Flight Operations: 

Support the Captain and First Officer during all phases of flight, including takeoff, cruise, and landing. Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.


System Monitoring: 

Continuously monitor aircraft systems, fuel usage, and navigation, providing timely updates to the flight crew and addressing any issues promptly.


Communication: 

Maintain clear and effective communication with air traffic control, ground crew, and passengers, ensuring important information is accurately conveyed.


Post-Flight Duties: 

Participate in post-flight inspections, debriefings, and the completion of flight logs and reports, ensuring all documentation is precise and thorough.


Safety and Compliance: 

Engage in the continuous improvement of flight operations by attending training sessions, safety briefings, and offering constructive feedback.


Qualifications:


Pilot License: 

Hold a valid commercial pilot license (CPL) with a multi-engine instrument rating.

Flight Experience: 

A minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight time, with experience in multi-engine aircraft preferred.


Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aeronautical engineering, or a related field is advantageous.


Technical Skills: 

Proficiency in flight management systems, navigation instruments, and aviation communication protocols.


Language Proficiency: 

Excellent command of English, both written and verbal. Additional language skills are advantageous.


Interpersonal Skills: 

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Capable of working effectively under pressure.


Additional Requirements:


Medical Certification: 

Maintain a current and valid Class 1 medical certificate.


Training Compliance: 

Successfully completed Ryanair's initial and recurrent training programs.


Flexibility: 

Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
