Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy:
Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified pilot candidates.
Collaborate with HR and flight operations teams to assess and forecast hiring needs.
Utilize various recruitment channels, including online platforms and industry networks, to source potential candidates.
Candidate Assessment and Selection:
Conduct thorough screening, assessment, and evaluation of pilot applications and qualifications.
Coordinate and conduct interviews, simulator assessments, and other selection processes to ensure candidates meet Jetstar’s standards.
Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with aviation regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, assessment results, and recruitment activities.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation related to pilot recruitment and selection.
Candidate Experience:
Provide a positive and professional candidate experience, reflecting Jetstar’s values and commitment to excellence.
Represent Jetstar Airways at recruitment events, career fairs, and industry conferences to attract top talent.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate closely with HR, flight operations, training, and regulatory compliance teams to facilitate seamless onboarding and integration processes.
Participate in cross-functional teams and initiatives aimed at enhancing recruitment practices and pilot retention.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
Proven experience in pilot recruitment, aviation personnel management, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices in pilot selection.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
