Who We Are
Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) provider, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Skytrans, a renowned regional airline in Queensland. As part of our expansion into the Australian market, we are set to introduce jet operations, starting with the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
Skytrans has a long & distinguished history of flying within Queensland. Our head office is based in Cairns and we employ up to 180 people throughout our Queensland bases. Our aircrafts take to the skies each day with pride and professionalism, offering the highest level of safety and customer service to our passengers.
Who You Are
You will be a customer-focused, self-motivated individual who is reliable and can methodically work through time-critical decision-making scenarios as part of a team. You enjoy change, have strong problem-solving and prioritising skills, and have a relaxed composure. To be successful in the role, you will need to have an analytical thought process and attention to detail as well as highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
What You Will Do
As part of the Integrated Operations Centre (IOC), the role is offered on a full-time rotational basis and will typically see you coordinating scheduled and unscheduled operational activities taking place across the airline network. This includes effective situational awareness and network oversight, timely and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders, consultation with critical stakeholders when implementing recovery solutions, with timely and customer focused outcomes.

What You Need to Succeed:
• Experience working in operations, preferably in an airline environment
• Operations and Rostering Software experience highly desirable
• Understanding of CASA Flight and Duty Limitations
• Ability to work in a team environment, in a cohesive and friendly manner
• Decision making and prioritisation skills
