Job Opening For Cabin Crew- Air Transat
Position Type: Full-time
Air Transat is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Cabin Crew. As a member of our cabin crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our passengers while delivering exceptional service onboard our flights.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew members at all times, adhering to all safety procedures and regulations set forth by Air Transat and regulatory authorities.
2. Provide excellent customer service to passengers, including assisting with boarding, seating, and disembarking, as well as responding to passenger inquiries and requests during the flight.
3. Conduct pre-flight and post-flight cabin inspections to ensure that all safety equipment, emergency exits, and cabin amenities are in working order and properly stocked.
4. Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures, including evacuation drills, first aid, and firefighting techniques, and respond quickly and effectively to any onboard emergencies or incidents.
5. Serve meals, beverages, and snacks to passengers according to Air Transat's standards and procedures, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
6. Maintain a clean and tidy cabin environment throughout the flight, including regular cleaning of lavatories, galleys, and passenger seating areas.
7. Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation with fellow cabin crew members, flight deck crew, and ground staff to ensure smooth and efficient flight operations.
8. Remain vigilant and attentive to passengers' needs and comfort throughout the flight, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
9. Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings as required by Air Transat, including recurrent training, safety drills, and regulatory updates.
10. Uphold Air Transat's brand image and reputation by presenting a professional and well-groomed appearance and demeanor at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for providing exceptional passenger experiences.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as flight schedules dictate.
- Physically fit and able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying heavy objects, and maneuvering in confined spaces.
- Proficiency in English and French (bilingualism is an asset).
- Valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Successful completion of Air Transat's cabin crew training program and any required certifications or licenses.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation is an asset.
