           Air New Zealand's Christchurch Maintenance Operations Centre (MOC) Turboprop has a rare opportunity for a Maintenance Operations Controller to join the Team. This is a permanent role working a rotating shift based in the Maintenance Operations Centre (MOC) Turboprop Christchurch

Reporting to the MOC Duty Managers - 

    Turboprop, you will be responsible for monitoring the On-line engineering operation and be accountable to ensure compliance is maintained by initiating outcomes to achieve this. You will directly contribute to OTP by providing proactive engineering solutions and will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure potential and actual day of operation issues are identified and managed to achieve maximum availability and utilisation of company aircraft (On-line and Off-line). This responsibility and accountability extends to managing the maintenance and defect rectification of Air New Zealand's Turboprop Fleet during On-line operation.

        

  This is not a job for the faint hearted. You will be someone who enjoys the unpredictability and challenge of the operational environment. Your knowledge, experience and initiative will be key to solving problems that may sometimes seem insurmountable. You will also be someone who has excellent attention to detail, communicates in a clear and concise manner with both technical and non-technical personnel, has excellent time management, can multi-task, juggle priorities and stay calm under pressure.

To be successful in this role you will have:

-Q300 and/or ATR 72-600 type certification approvals (current authorisations preferred)

-Strong knowledge of NZ Civil Aviation Authority and other applicable regulations

-Light Maintenance, Line Station, or Line Maintenance experience

-Good level of computer literacy is required

Knowledge of Air New Zealand policies and procedures beneficial.
