Job Description for Flight Attendant at Frontier Airlines

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety and Security:
Ensure the safety and security of passengers, crew, and aircraft by following all safety procedures and regulations mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Frontier Airlines. Conduct pre-flight safety demonstrations and provide instructions during emergencies.
2. Customer Service:
Provide outstanding customer service to passengers by greeting them warmly, assisting with seat assignments and luggage, and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have during the flight. Strive to create a positive and memorable travel experience for all passengers.
3. Cabin Preparation:
Prepare the cabin for flight by conducting pre-flight checks, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and stocking necessary supplies such as food, beverages, and safety equipment. Assist with boarding and seating passengers in a timely manner.
4. In-Flight Duties:
Perform in-flight duties including serving meals and beverages, selling onboard products, administering first aid if needed, and maintaining a calm and professional demeanor at all times. Monitor passenger behavior and compliance with safety regulations.
5. Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with fellow crew members, including pilots and other flight attendants, to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.
6. Emergency Response:
Be prepared to respond to various emergency situations, including medical emergencies, turbulence, and aircraft malfunctions. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew.
7. Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain proficiency in safety procedures, customer service skills, and other relevant areas. Stay updated on company policies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or related field preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work environments.
- Physically fit and able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in confined spaces.
- Willingness to relocate to assigned base and travel as required.
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and medical examination.
