Job Description:

The Corporate Responsibility Program Manager supports the Corporate Responsibility Team and oversees Southwest Airlines Employees Catastrophic Assistance Charity (SWAECAC), Southwest's emergency assistance program and independent 501c3 nonprofit. They’ll maintain SWAECAC's charitable status by ensuring that the proper bylaws are followed, instilling best practices for charity, and making decisions surrounding planning and fundraising. The Corporate Responsibility Program Manager is an organized collaborator and trusted advisor ready to drive the future of Southwest Airlines.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our corporate campus in Dallas, TX, which requires employees to work onsite on our corporate campus at least three days a week. The department designates the specific three days of the week that employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify shared goals and ensure appropriate programs are in place to protect our brand reputation and customer base.
Drive innovation to ensure corporate responsibility programs are relevant and meet evolving trends and best practices, as well as contribute to our diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy to support corporate DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) goals.
Identify strategic opportunities to engage community outreach service offerings within other Southwest departments.
Identify opportunities to achieve department and company goals as directed by executive leadership, as well as provide solutions through analysis, strategic thinking, resource planning, and coordination with leaders.
Manage Southwest Airlines program activities and associated events.
Research and identify innovative programmatic opportunities that deepen engagement and bolster business and reputation.
Serve as a convener or facilitator for cross-departmental conversations and projects.
Serve as an intermediary and subject matter expert to address issues ranging from routine to contentious.
Serve up impactful and inspirational stories to communicate internally and externally.
May perform other job duties as directed by the employee’s leaders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Skilled in understanding the implications of the latest information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Ability to listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
Ability to propose creative ideas about a topic or program Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among unrelated events)
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Preferred: Salesforce experience
Advanced-level experience and seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
Corporate social responsibility and/or philanthropy

Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station, desk, or office area] for extended periods of time

Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to comply with company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be able to travel and work nights and weekends as expected for this position.
Pay and Benefits:
Competitive market salary ranges from $102,500 to $113,900 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
