CAMO Engineer
Position of work: Eastern Airways Head Office, Humberside Airport (some degree of international travel may be required at times).
Reporting to: Technical Services Team Leader
Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience
Primary responsibilities:
Assisting the TSTL and Fleet Specialists to monitor and review developments and TCH requirements for Eastern Airways’ fleet of modern regional turboprops and single-aisle turbojets.
Collating and reviewing TCH documentation, including service bulletins, repAirs, and modifications, and making recommendations accordingly.
Reviewing removed component details and monitoring fleet and component reliability.
Manage and control Aircraft-specific documentation, including dent and buckle charts.
Collecting maintenance data, including preparation of work packs and review of completed work cards.
Trend analysis of Aircraft and engine performance.
Liaising with Aircraft manufacturers and maintenance providers as the operators’ technical representative, establishing and maintaining a prosperous relationship.
Control of Aircraft operating software and navigational databases.
Research and presentation of Aircraft enhancements and modifications.
Onboarding and induction of new Aircraft into the fleet.
Key accountability
Support Part-145 and CAMO with technical information to service the fleet.
Necessary qualifications and skills:
Technical understanding of Aircraft systems and components.
Experience with undertaking complex projects.
Person specification:
Willingness to collaborate and learn.
Competent in the handling of technical data.
Dynamic and enthusiastic work ethic.
Extremely strong and clear communication skills.
Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize, and manage multiple complexes, time-sensitive tasks concurrently.
Accurate and precise.
