Synthetic Flight Instructor
Job Description
It’s an exciting time to work for Etihad Airways and in particular our Technical Operation Steam; we’ve grown from a national carrier to a global airline, transforming the industry through creativity, innovation, and sustainability with a clear drive to optimize commercial value whilst delivering exceptional products and services to our guests.
This is an amazing opportunity to join us as a Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI). In this role, you are responsible for conducting ground and simulator training, developing course material as required, and performing duties as required by training management.
Accountabilities
Reporting directly to the Manager of Flight Crew Training at Airbus, the SFI will be integrated into the Etihad Airways Training Department and required to fulfill the role as described in Operations Manual Part D.
Education and Experience
Hold or previously hold the following qualifications:
ICAO ATPL with valid type rating: Airbus
Minimum 10 years in the airline industry
SFI/TRI or SFE/TRE experience > 3 years in an ATO or AOC operation with ≥500 hours of instruction.
5500 hours on multi-crew EFIS-equipped aircraft ≥ 60 tons
